At Havill Funeral Service we work in association with Golden Charter Funeral Plans (Download Brochure), the leading funeral planning network in the country. Organising and paying for your funeral arrangements in advance of your own death has become increasingly popular, many people choose this option to alleviate the burden and distress at such an emotional time. The advantages of taking out a funeral plan are:

  • You can spread payments over a number of instalments or payments can be made in a single fee.
  • You have the option to personalise your own funeral plan.
  • You have peace of mind of being sure that your money is secure as your payment goes directly into the Golden Charter Trust Fund, which is separately and successfully administered.

For many families, we recommend pre-arranging the funeral. This is where all the necessary forms are filled out and the person's wishes are recorded.

This information then stays on file until such time as the family notifies Havill Funeral Services that the death has occurred. At this time a representative of our company will request that the person nominated to arrange the funeral sign the forms and authorise the funeral to take place.
